Inspired by the first Spring shoot, Arodamos, the Aródama family of products was created to offer a delicious feast of the most exquisite goods of the rich Cretan land.
The high respect for the culture of the Mediterranean diet and the deep love for the traditions of the blessed Cretan land, were the biggest motivation that inspired the Mamidaki family to bring its delicious creations to every table; tasty creations that lead the way to the paths of pleasure.
Nowadays, all the Aródama Cretan Family Products are of excellent raw material, ensuring -above all- excellent quality in a special, award-winning package.
Having as a primary goal to make its products a recognizable brand of Premium Gourmet Delicatessen, Aródama continues its journey in a succesful way bringing the unique tastes of Crete all over the world. It has already won 7 international awards, including many golden taste stars at the international competition Grate Taste, the 2nd place for the unique design of the Aródama product packaging at the prestigious international awards “DIELINE”, and 2 more distinctions for its innovation.
The Myth
According to the myth, the Godess of Life wanted to protect her daughter, Earth, from the first Titans by offering her the tree of life.
The tree gave life to Earth and birth to every new deity.
On this sacred tree, there was a new shoot called “Arodamos”. This tender shoot was providing Gods with ambrosia that was conferring immortality upon whoever consumed it.
